Frequently asked questions
How can healthcare organizations discover all connected medical devices on their network?
ORDR's Clinical Defender platform automatically discovers and catalogs all IoMT devices across your healthcare network without requiring agent installation or network disruption. This eliminates manual inventory processes and ensures no connected medical device goes unmonitored, giving HTM specialists complete visibility into their device ecosystem.
What's the best way to prioritize medical device security risks in a healthcare environment?
Clinical Defender's risk assessment tools analyze device vulnerabilities and prioritize them based on clinical impact and exploitability, helping HTM specialists focus remediation efforts on the highest-risk assets first. This context-aware approach ensures security decisions align with healthcare operations and patient safety requirements.
Can healthcare IT establish continuous monitoring without disrupting clinical operations?
Yes. ORDR's Clinical Defender is purpose-built for healthcare environments, enabling proactive security monitoring and threat detection tailored to the unique constraints of medical device networks. Continuous monitoring runs passively in the background without impacting device functionality or clinical workflows.
