As we celebrate another year of SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, I’m excited to share how Ordr continues to prioritize the security of your data and earning the trust you place in us. SOC 2 has been a big part of our journey for years, and each time we complete this audit, we expand our scope and deepen our commitment to doing things right. 

A Track Record of Trust 

Since achieving SOC 2 compliance back in December 2021, we’ve made it a mission to uphold the highest standards for security and data protection — not just for Ordr, but for every customer we serve. Over the last three years, we’ve continued to raise the bar for ourselves and to broaden the scope of our efforts. 

Why SOC 2 Matters More Than Ever 

In 2024, SOC 2 Type 2 compliance is more than just a security badge. As cyber threats grow more complex, our customers in healthcare, manufacturing, finance, and other critical industries count on us to protect their sensitive data. SOC 2 isn’t just a “check the box” exercise for Ordr; it’s a true reflection of the care and maturity we bring to every aspect of our IT, cybersecurity, and customer operations. 

Expanding Our Efforts 

We know that every customer touchpoint—from proof of value (PoV), to onboarding, and long-term support—requires a deep commitment to data protection and integrity. That’s why we expanded the scope of our SOC 2 audit even further this year. Our 2024 audit now covers: 

• Our entire secure software development process 

• Employee onboarding and continuous training 

• Customer PoV, onboarding, and support 

• Vendor management practices  

• Risk management strategies  

• Data storage and resiliency 

• Incident response planning  

• Cloud center operations 

• User access controls 

Zero Incidents, Maximum Trust 

I’m particularly proud to report that we maintained a record of zero security incidents or breaches over the past year that have affected vendors in our technology stack. Even in the face of global cybersecurity challenges, our robust security measures and compliance efforts have kept us resilient. Maintaining SOC 2 compliance is a key requirement for our customers, both existing and future. It reassures them that the security, confidentiality, and privacy of their data is always top of mind at Ordr. 

We take this responsibility seriously, which is why we use our own platform, OrdrAI CAASM+, to manage security controls and streamline the audit process. By consolidating all evidence in one place for audit verification, we ensure not only achieve compliance, but we strengthen our overall security posture.
